Freebird Publishing was initially created to promote carp angling, in the form of carp angling books and carp angling literature, but both Keith Jenkins and Ian ‘Chilly’ Chillcott feel that it has much more to offer.

Chilly’s new book, Light My Fire, has been the foundation on which Freebird has been built, and in the short term we aim to offer budding fishing authors the opportunity to have their stories published for all to admire.

We do not see carp fishing, or general coarse fishing, as being the only pastimes people want to read, or write about; anything that’s worth writing will have someone who thinks it’s worth reading.

With that in mind, we hope Freebird Publishing will appeal to both readers and writers.
