As much a part of angling history as any other lake you could mention, this huge lake has tested the resilience and skills of many of England’s best known anglers, but has also held jewels that any angler would crave.

Fishing on Wraysbury has always been a test of endurance, and in this book you’ll find evidence of those that have passed the test, and also those that have failed. As with Horton, the stories of a number of anglers are told within these pages, going back as far as the late ‘60’s up to the very present, and including some of the most iconic carp in English carp angling.

If fishing Horton was a gruelling 10,000 metre race, then to fish Wraysbury is an ultra-marathon, but the rewards are just as great.
